Calcium Phosphate HAP Products


Hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) is a form of calcium phosphate that has a large number of applications such as separation and purification of proteins, bone implants, and drug delivery systems. For each application, the use of calcium based materials is optimized by specifying their geometry, dimension, density, pore size, mechanical strength, purity, and chemical phase.

To ensure customer satisfaction, the quality of our products is routinely verified using standard characterization techniques such as X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Tr ansform Infra Red Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopy (SEM and TEM), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) nitrogen adsorption surface area measurements.

Nanocrystalline HAP/ TCP
Crystal particle size range is from 20 to 550 nm. The crystals are stabilized in a solution of ethanol or in a mixture of water and ammonium hydroxyde.

HAP / TCP / HATCP Powder
Our patented process allows control over the size and morphology of the micro-spheres and produces a very uniform particle size distribution. The specific surface area of the powder can be varied from 10 to 120 m2/g.

HAP / TCP/ HATCP / TTCP Granules
The granules come in several standard sizes. Custom sizes and multi-phase mixtures (e.g. HAP-TCP) can also be manufactured.
